Nigerian gospel singer, Peterson Okopi has welcomed his first child with his wife and fashion designer Prudent Gabriel.
Naija News reports couple announced the joyful news with a gender reveal party that captured the attention of many of their followers.
The event was shared on Instagram on Friday, where Prudent posted a video showing two luxury cars adorned with blue and pink ribbons alongside balloons, creating suspense around the baby’s gender.
She later revealed that they are blessed with a baby boy.
She wrote: “He gave us our SONSHINE from Heaven, wrapped in Blue.
“Team Girl don’t worry I stand with you next time, we must win. A king, a big brother.”
The announcement came not long after the couple released their new single titled He is God.
Peterson and Prudent tied the knot in October 2024 in a wedding ceremony attended by family and friends.
