
The governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has stated that no coalition can stop the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking in Birnin Kebbi, capital of Kebbi State, when he received Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and first daughter of President Tinubu, on a condolence visit at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, the governor stated that Tinubu would have his way peacefully and freely into the Presidency.
He reaffirmed the people of Kebbi State’s commitment to supporting the president’s second-term bid in 2027.
The President’s first daughter was in Birnin Kebbi to condole with the governor and people of Kebbi State over the demise of Emir of Zuru, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Sani Sami, who passed away in a London hospital at the age of 81 years.
The governor said the people of Kebbi State have no choice but to support the President’s second term bid, given the number of projects he has facilitated in the state.
“The leadership style of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is a great one that benefits Kebbi State and Nigeria at large,” he said.
In her remarks, Mujidat Folsade Tinubu-Olo said, “The purpose of our visit is to condole with the family members of the late Emir of Zuru, Kebbi State Governor and the entire people of Kebbi State on the passing of the late Emir.
“We pray to Allah to forgive the late Emir’s shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdausi.”
