Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have reportedly arrested a notorious member of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN).
The suspect, identified as Onoh Chidera, 32, was arrested on Saturday following credible intelligence.
Sources disclosed that operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad trailed and arrested him at a black spot in 9th Mile Corner, Ngwo.
“The suspect is among those fingered in the attack on Ezeagu Police Station earlier in the year, during which arms and ammunition were carted away,” sources told Zagazola Makama.
The sources added that discreet investigation had commenced to unravel his network and apprehend other collaborators.
