Nigerian singer, Raoul Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has attributed his music career success to a prayer offered at the Shiloh programme of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, in 2013.
Naija News recalls that Skales experienced career stagnation after his contract with Banky W’s Empire Mate Entertainment (EME) expired.
In a post via 𝕏 on Thursday, August 28, 2025, the musician said he got his biggest hit, ‘Shake Body’, after his colleague, Timaya, took him to the Shiloh programme.
According to Skales, they were asked to write down seven things they want God to do for them during a ministration, and he wrote that he desired a global hit song seven times.
While expressing gratitude to God for the turnaround in his life, Skales added that his song ‘Shake Body’ is a ‘divine unending song.’
He wrote, “In 2013 @timayatimaya took me to Shiloh and we were told to write down 7 things we are praying for and I wrote a song that will take me to the ends of the world 7 times … fast forward till today he gave me a divine unending song … when they think it’s over another thing pops up about this damn song… Lord Jesus thank you.”
