He praised Arsenal’s transfer window, highlighting the arrival of striker Viktor Gyokeres and the expected signing of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
“With Eberechi Eze incoming, and finally a No. 9 recruited in Viktor Gyokeres, this has been a seriously good window for Arsenal,” Winter wrote. “In quantity of quality, Arsenal now have the squad to sustain a challenge to Liverpool, who rightly remain favourites.”
He added: “Manchester City will push both Arsenal and Liverpool. It could be a great Premier League race. I’ve backed Liverpool win.”
