Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has urged his daughter, Temi, to submit to her newlywed husband, singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, during their wedding reception in Iceland.
Naija News reports that Temi and Mr Eazi tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025, after earlier hosting two other weddings, one in Monaco on May 9, which coincided with the birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mother, and a Yoruba traditional ceremony at the Otedola family residence in Dubai in July.
In a video from the Iceland reception that has circulated online, Otedola praised the couple’s love and entrepreneurial spirit, describing their union as “made in heaven.”
“You found a great guy, a very great guy, a blessed guy. He’s come from a very decent family. One thing I’ll advise you… You have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me up,” he said.
Otedola also commended their shared drive as entrepreneurs. “One thing I like about both of you and I’ve observed is, you’re truly in love with each other. Temi is an entrepreneur. Tosin is an entrepreneur. So you match each other. This is made in heaven,” he said.
He further advised the couple to manage disagreements privately. “When you have issues, problems, just keep it within yourself. Never call any friend that have this problem. Just keep it within your walls. And God will bless you and bless your marriage.”
The billionaire also presented a wedding gift to the couple. “I thought of what I should give this couple as a present. I thought, I’ve splintered my savings account. I brought my gift. This gift I present to you. You go out into the world. You’re both entrepreneurs. Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people. This is my gift for you,” he said.
Following the wedding, Temi officially updated her surname on Instagram from Otedola to Ajibade, captioning her post “Mr and Mrs Ajibade.”
