TOPIC: There Is Safety In Christ (TREM Devotional 14 October 2025)
MESSAGE: “But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.” – Exodus 11:7 (KJV)
Beloved, Goshen was the safe haven where the Israelites dwelt in Egypt. A place marked by divine protection and covenant preservation. While plagues and destruction ravaged Egypt, the people of God were untouched. Goshen was safe because God’s covenant people lived there.
Today, our Goshen is in Christ. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. As the world grows darker and more perilous, we are not without hope, for the darker the night, the brighter our light shines. This is the best time for God’s children to manifest His glory and prove His faithfulness.
Do not be afraid! Don’t allow the enemy to push you into fear or despair. You have everything it takes to win, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. The angels of the Lord encamp around you to deliver and protect you. You are sealed with the seal of the Lord, the mark of divine ownership and preservation. He will fight for you, strengthen you, and keep you alive.
There is indeed a Goshen for the believer, a realm of safety and security that the devil cannot penetrate. God has provided this place of refuge for His children amidst the chaos of the world. All you need to do is believe and access it by faith.
During the Second World War, while bombs and bullets tore through cities, a woman chose to remain in her home, praying and trusting God for safety. When the war ended, she emerged unharmed. When asked how she managed to survive, she replied, “I read in my Bible that the God who keeps me neither sleeps nor slumbers.”
Beloved, that same God is your keeper today. Rest in His unfailing protection. There is safety in Christ.
