
The draw for the league phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League was conducted on Thursday, with top European clubs learning their fixtures under the new format.
This season will again adopt the ‘Swiss-style’ league phase rather than the traditional group stage, with 36 teams competing.
Under the format, each team will play eight matches against different opponents, with four at home and four away.
The top eight sides will qualify automatically for the round of 16, while teams placed ninth to 24th will compete in a two-legged play-off for the remaining slots.
Clubs ranked 25th to 36th will be eliminated from all UEFA competitions.
Bayern Munich were drawn against Chelsea (H), PSG (A), Club Brugge (H), Arsenal (A), Sporting CP (H), PSV (A), Union SG (H), and Pafos (A).
Chelsea will face Barcelona (H), Bayern Munich (A), Benfica (H), Atalanta (A), Ajax (H), Napoli (A), Pafos (H), and Qarabag (A).
Real Madrid were handed a blockbuster run against Manchester City (H), Liverpool (A), Juventus (H), Benfica (A), Marseille (H), Olympiacos (A), Monaco (H), and Kairat Almaty (A).
Inter Milan will play Liverpool (H), Dortmund (A), Arsenal (H), Atletico Madrid (A), Slavia Praha (H), Ajax (A), Kairat Almaty, and Union SG.
Borussia Dortmund will meet Inter Milan (H), Manchester City, Villarreal, Juventus, Bodo/Glimt, Tottenham, Athletic Club, and Copenhagen (A).
Liverpool face a strict set against Real Madrid (H), Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Frankfurt, PSV, Marseille, Qarabag, and Galatasaray (A).
Barcelona will battle PSG (H), Chelsea, Frankfurt, Club Brugge, Olympiacos, Slavia Praha, Copenhagen, and Newcastle (A).
