Tottenham Hotspur have made a late move in the transfer market, agreeing a season-long loan for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.
Kolo Muani, 26, who has been heavily linked with Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, and West Ham, is set to join Spurs after personal terms were agreed.
Recall that Kolo Muani scored eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances while on loan at Juventus last season. He has won two Ligue 1 titles with PSG and scored in France’s 2022 World Cup semi-final victory over Morocco.
Meanwhile, Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is on the move to Brentford for a season-long loan. The 25-year-old, who had options in Fulham and Villarreal, spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage before a hamstring injury halted his campaign.
Nelson has made 61 Premier League appearances across Arsenal and Fulham, and Brentford are hopeful he can boost their attacking options as Yoane Wissa nears a move to Newcastle United.
Over at Nottingham Forest, manager Nuno Espirito Santo is set to oversee another significant signing. The club is close to agreeing a £30m deal for Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa, which would push Forest’s summer spending to roughly £180m.
Bakwa would become the team’s tenth new signing, joining players like Omari Hutchinson, James McAtee, and Arnaud Kalimuendo.
Talks are ongoing with potential departures, including Jota Silva and Taiwo Awoniyi, while Espirito Santo is expected to meet with owner Evangelos Marinakis regarding transfer frustrations.
In Germany, Werder Bremen are working to secure a loan deal for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface after AC Milan reportedly pulled out over fitness concerns.
Boniface, returning to training last week, was left out of Leverkusen’s squad for their 3-3 draw with Bremen.
Chelsea have loaned Omari Kellyman to League One side Cardiff City, while Manchester United have extended Ethan Williams’ contract until 2028 before sending him out on loan.
