Naija News understands that the vacant roles include Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), Registration Area Technicians (RATECHs), and Registration Area Centre (RAC) Managers.
The electoral commission stated that the online registration portal, INECPRES, will be open to the public for three weeks from Monday, September 15, to Sunday, October 5, 2025.

The electoral umpire said RAC Managers must be heads of institutions hosting RACs or suitable staff at Grade Levels 07 and above, while RATECHs are strictly for qualified INEC ICT staff.
INEC noted that “Applicants must not be political party members, nor should they have expressed support for any candidate or party.
“Applicants must reside in the state they are applying for, except for RATECHs who are INEC staff.”
