President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, visited former President Muhammadu Buhari’s widow, Aisha, during his visit to Kaduna State.
Naija News reports that President Tinubu was accompanied on the visit to Buhari’s house by several Governors and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During the visit, Tinubu promised to uphold and honour the legacies of honesty, integrity and great character left behind by the late former President Buhari.
He told Mrs Buhari that though her husband is no longer present physically, his spirit continues to inspire greatness.
“The loss of flesh is not the loss of spirit, the spirit that he left with us is the spirit of hope, dedication,patriotism and honesty…we assure you and the family that we will continue the legacy of our leader and the spirit that he left behind will not be stained,” Tinubu said.
