Veteran Nollywood actress Peju Ogunmola has lost her only son, Shina, leaving her family and the Yoruba movie industry in grief.
The sad news came while the 56-year-old actress was said to be working on a movie set.
Shina, her only child with her husband and comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, also known as Papi Luwe, had just completed his National Youth Service Corps programme, a moment that recently brought joy to his parents.
His death has brought deep sorrow to colleagues, friends, and fans, many of whom have been sending messages of condolence.
The Yoruba film community has been especially affected, describing the loss as painful for one of its respected families.
Popular actor, Odunlade Adekola was among the first to share the news, Naija News reports.
The family has not yet given details about funeral arrangements.

Naija News reports that late Ruth died in an accident involving a Dangote truck, an incident that has thrown the Otabor family into mourning.
