The Rivers House of Assembly has resolved to probe the state’s finances during the six-month emergency rule of the Sole Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas.
Naija News reports that the House passed the resolution during its first plenary session on Thursday, after President Bola Tinubu reinstated the lawmakers, Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy.
The lawmakers also urged Fubara to prepare the budget and transmit the list of commissioners’ nominees for screening.
