Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has expressed concern over the increasing cost of everyday goods and services.
Naija News reports that the entertainer took to his Instagram story to compare the soaring prices across different sectors.
He said that street food now costs as much as fast food, fast food is approaching the price of fine dining, fine dining rivals the cost of house rent, and rent itself is nearing the price of buying a house.
He wrote: “The price of street food is now the price of fast food. The price of fast food is now the price of fine dining. The price of fine dining is now the price of a house rent. The price of house rent is now the price of a house.”
In other news, disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has described marriage as the strongest partnership a person can enter.
In a post on Twitter, the singer referred marriage as a bond, family, and purpose with God as the witness.
Naija News reports that she made this remark while celebrating her sister Temi Otedola’s marriage to singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi.
She wrote: “Call me old school, but I see marriage as the most powerful partnership in life. Maybe even the most important contract you will ever sign… with God Himself as the witness.
