Singer Yhemolee has broken his silence after reports surfaced that his wife, Thaylor B, and her friends attacked interior decorator and businesswoman Queen Akeredolu over an alleged affair.
Naija News reports that the controversy began when a blogger reported that Akeredolu was assaulted.
In a statement on Wednesday, Akeredolu alleged that she was invited to a location in Lekki on September 6, where she was beaten by Thaylor B, her sister, and three friends.
She said the group accused her of being involved with Yhemolee and went on to use belts and other objects on her, tearing her clothes and destroying her belongings, including a new phone, wig, glasses, and outfits.
Akeredolu explained that she had previously collaborated with Thaylor B on a project in June and thought she was meeting for another job before the alleged attack happened.
She denied any affair with Yhemolee and said that the matter had been taken to her lawyers and the authorities.
Yhemolee responded on Thursday through Snapchat, where he posted a chat with a friend reacting to the situation and described the issue as amusing.
He also shared a video of himself with his wife at an outing and posted a fan’s message praising his growth in the industry, which he captioned with words celebrating his nine-year career.
He wrote: “If you enter Cutie Julls comment section, you go kpai person. Bro this is just too funny pls.”
